Welcome to the official web site for the Latrobe Municipal Authority in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Since its inception in 1942, the Authority currently provides water and wastewater services to the Greater Latrobe area in Westmoreland County.


The water treatment system has a filtration capacity of 6.0 million gallons per day and the wastewater plant is rated to treat 5.0 million gallons per day.

LMA Customer Alert: Please be advised that the Latrobe Municipal Authority (LMA) is beginning a project to perform maintenance inspections on all fire hydrants within the LMA service area. Customers in the general area in which the fire hydrants are being inspected could temporarily experience cloudy or dirty water. Fire hydrants in the Bradenville area are scheduled to be inspected beginning May 15, 2018.. Please continue to check the LMA website for hydrant inspection updates.
